Short n sweet… with the Wilbow family

Central Coast Maternity Photographer

This gorgeous family were still getting ready when I arrived for their maternity photography session. Dear little Leni had on her prettiest pink dress and her mummy Liz was brushing her hair. It was lovely to capture a few photos of the two of them sitting quietly together and having some mummy-daughter time. I had to laugh though, it wasn’t long until Leni decided that her little red riding dress was much better. Lucky Dean and Liz are so cruisy - they let Leni do her thing, which meant Leni was happy and confident throughout the session.

Liz has been on bed rest since 23 weeks and making it to 31 weeks is her personal best for a pregnancy, as their daughter Leni arrived at 30 weeks. Her belly is looking awesome already – I find it amazing that a woman’s body has the ability to grow and change to fit a baby. I can’t wait see how Liz’s belly grows and changes over the next few weeks.

I love when families choose to wait to find out the sex of their newborn baby. Surprises are my favourite. Big sister Leni has her heart set on a little sister – she even has names picked out and ready to go. Mum and dad have been gently preparing her for the fact that she may indeed end up with a little brother. She’s not all that fussed – I’m pretty sure she thinks they’re wrong anyway!!

Their maternity photography session was so relaxed - we just hung out at their home. Leni had time to do some drawing, practice writing her name, jump on the trampoline and ride her scooter with their dog Jet.

So looking forward to catching up with these guys for their newborn photography session once their baby arrives!
