A quiet intimate wedding with just the love of your life and your parents as witnesses - sounds divine, right? Jake and Kelly decided that was everything they needed for their special day. I was so honoured to be part of their wedding day as their photographer. Kelly was the most relaxed bride you would ever hope to meet. She was getting the finishing touches applied to her hair when I arrived. Her mum was getting maekup done. Everyone was chatting happily and enjoying themselves. And that set the tone for the whole day. No stress. No fuss. No worries about time schedules.

Kel’s mum had bought her a beautiful set of diamond earrings for her wedding day. She also gave her an antique ring that had been handed down through the family.

They held their ceremony in a beautiful old queenslander style home on the central coast. Kelly’s dad met her at the ceremony and a few tears were shed as he saw his baby girl in her stunning wedding gown.

The vows were personal and sweet.

They spent time together after the ceremony, talking, drinking and just enjoying each others company before heading out for an intimate dinner.

I managed to steal them away for a few photos on the Ettalong foreshore. So relaxed, so happy. Such a beautiful way to start married life together.
