Short n sweet... with newborn baby Hunter

Newborn Photographer Central Coast

There is something about the arrival of a new baby in the house that makes so many families decide now is the time for major life changes. Whether it is renovations or career changes, so many of my newborn sessions are done while the family is going through big upheavals. When I arrived for Hunter’s newborn photography session, all was calm and peaceful in his family home. You would never have known that his family had only moved into the house a few short weeks before his arrival.

The move up from Sydney is big one - away from friends and support networks that are firmly established. Mum Lauren was grateful for the help of her extended family while in the newborn daze. Her in-laws also live on the central coast, while Lauren’s parents had flown in from their home overseas to be around for the arrival of the newest grandchild. Lauren was also looking forward to starting mothers group as a chance to meet other families with newborns.

Big brother Ace was busy throughout the session - he pushed chairs around with his daddy, they played tennis and little Ace did his best to get into a tub of playdoh while sitting on the white bedspread. Ace was also happy to stop his playing for a kiss and a cuddle with his little brother.
